Donna Sutton

Donna grew up in Jefferson and faithfully attended Trinity Lutheran Church. As she and her husband, Bill, started a family, they made a decision to attend the United Methodist Church. They were actively involved teaching youth and leading a children's choir. In 1990, Donna received an invitation to attend a women's Bible study, led by a devoted teacher from Abundant Life Ministries. The Word was opened up and Donna began to realize the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her family made a decision to attend ALM in 1992 and the rest is history. The destinies of Bill and Donna's children began to unfold with a mission trip to Jamaica in 1993. Their daughter, Sarah, has been a full-time missionary since 2000 and pastors Iglesia Esperanza Viva in San Pedro Sula, Honduras with her husband, Edward Nazar. Bill and Donna's son, Zachary, is an emergency medicine physician in Augusta, Georgia, and his wife, Megan is a pediatric intensive care nurse. Bill and Donna have three grandchildren; Elizabeth and Lia Nazar in Honduras, and Thomas Sutton in Georgia. Bill is an elder of Abundant Life Ministries and has served in various volunteer roles at the church over the years. 

There is no greater joy for Donna than seeing new faces walk through the door at ALM! She loves to meet new people and find out about their faith journey because she knows how her family's lives were dramatically changed with the fellowship and teaching they received at Abundant Life Ministries!
